Taking a Stand

More than just a name, we believe it is important to take a stand in life and exhibit that in real tangible ways. Although there are daily troubles and difficulties that we all deal with, we shouldn't forget how fortunate we are to be living the rich lives that we do. I'm writing this on Veterans Day, 11/11/11 and want to honor the men and women in our military who sacrifice more than most of us can ever imagine to protect the freedoms and liberties we so often take for granted.

In that spirit, we take our name seriously and will be donating to reMind.org. This is the Bob Woodruff foundation that is doing tremendous work to help our men and women in the military who have been injured. Advances in medicine and trauma treatment have resulted in fewer deaths but far more serious injuries to the people who serve in war. Take a minute, check out the website and do what you can to help those who have selflessly done so much for you. As reMind.org says, "Take a Stand for Heroes".
